Williams Estate Cabbage Casserole
Description
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Williams Estate in Tyler, Texas in 1994. From "Catsrecipes Y-Group"[1]
Ingredients
- 1 small head cabbage chopped
- 1 pound lean ground sirloin
- 1 cup chopped white onion
- ½ cup raw rice
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 soup can water
Procedures
- Brown sirloin and onion then drain well.
- Mix in rice and place over cabbage.
- Pour mixture of tomato soup and water over the top then cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
- Stir before serving.
