White Sauce Mix I
Description
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Gee Estate in Quinlan, Texas in 1994. From "Catsrecipes Y-Group"[1]
Ingredients
- 2 cups instant dry milk
- 1 cup unbleached flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup butter
Procedures
- In a large bowl combine dry milk, flour and salt then mix well.
- With a pastry blender cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
- Lightly pack in a large airtight container.
- Store in refrigerator and use within 2 months.
