Fried Oat Cakes

Ingredients

• 1 tbsp rolled oats
• 2 tbsp of milk
• pinch of salt
• 1 tbsp flour
• 1 tbsp baking powder
• bacon fat

Procedures

1. In a large bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients; stir in the milk.
2. Using your hands, form batter into small cake-sized patties; fry in bacon fat, turning once to brown evenly.
3. The cakes go well with strips of crisp bacon.
