Sweet and Sour Sauce I

Ingredients

• ½ cup white vinegar
• 2 tsp cornstarch
• ½ cup white sugar
• ⅛ cup soy sauce
• ½ cup water
• ½ cup pineapple, crushed

Procedures

1. Combine the vinegar and sugar.
2. Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
3. Mix the cornstarch into the water and soy sauce.
4. Add this, plus the pineapple to the sugar mixture.
5. Boil until mixture becomes transparent and thick. Serve warm or cold.
