Shrimp Taco
Description
Shrimp Taco [1] [2] is a super taco with more layers and toasting and frying, a delicious treat.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp plus 2 tsp butter or olive oil
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled, tails removed, and cut in half if large
- 1 tsp finely chopped chipotles in adobo
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Large corn tortillas
- 1 1/2 cups grated Jack cheese
- Chipotle salsa
- Guacamole
- Mango habanero salsa
- Cilantro sprigs
Procedure
- Over medium heat melt butter/olive oil in a large pan.
- Include the garlic and shrimp, stir.
- Achieve pink shrimp.
- Include chipotles and salt, stirring.
- Remove from heat.
- Warm a large heavy pan, include the butter/oil.
- Warm corn tortilla in pan, and sprinkle 2 tbsp of shredded cheese evenly.
- Include 2-3 shrimp on one side of the tortilla.
- When cheese starts to melt close the tortilla in half.
- Fry both sides to achieve a crisp and golden appearance.
- Remove from heat and open tortilla.
- Include 1 tsp chipotle salsa, 1 tbsp guacamole and 1 tbsp mango habanero salsa.
- Include a few cilantro sprigs, then close tortilla.
- Serve warm!!
