Ingredients

Procedures

  1. On the first day, boil rind until tender; drain.
  2. Combine sugar, vinegar, oil of cloves and oil of cinnamon; pour over rind.
  3. On the second day, drain the syrup; boil and pour back over rind.
  4. Repeat on the third and fourth days.
  5. On the fifth day, repeat.
  6. Place rind in jars, cover with syrup and seal.
