Description
Spiced yellow rice
Ingredients
- 1 (one) lb long-grain rice
- 1 (one) can coconut milk (dilute with water)
- 1 (one) teaspoon kunir, annatto, or masusa (for the color)
- 1 (one) salam leaf
- 1 (one) pinch greater galanga
- 1 (one) pandan leaf
- 1 (one) pinch black pepper
Procedures
- Boil the rice together with the coconut milk, the turmeric, annatto, or masusa, salam leaf, laos, pandan leaf, black pepper and salt (optional).
- Use a rice cooker for this.
- Take leaves out before serving.
