Far-East Fruited Rice
Description
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter or margarine
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
- 1 cup cubed cooked ham
- 1 cup cubed cooked chicken
- 1 cup drained pineapple tidbits
- 1 cup finely sliced green pepper
- ½ cup sliced water chestnuts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Procedures
- Stir butter into hot rice.
- Add ham, chicken, pineapple, green pepper, water chestnuts, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, garlic powder and onion powder.
- Turn into buttered 1½-quart casserole.
- Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350°F.
