Cuban-style Black Beans
Ingredients
- 2 (15 oz) cans black beans
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar
Procedures
- Sauté the onion, green pepper and garlic in a little of the bean liquid until soft.
- Add the black beans along with any remaining liquid.
- Add the spices.
- Simmer for 15 – 30 minutes.
- Add the wine vinegar just before serving.
