Description
In Romanian: crema de castane
Ingredients
10 oz / 300 g
butter
10 oz / 300 g
confectioner's sugar
1 lb / 500 g
chestnuts
1 tablespoon
rum
Procedures
Cream the
butter
with the
sugar
and
rum
.
Make an X into the
chestnut
peel, and set to boil.
Start with cold
water
.
Let boil for just a few minutes.
Then peel the
chestnuts
, grind and then sieve them.
Put the
chestnut
puree in a bowl and gradually add the
butter
mixture.
Mix well.
