Cheerio Bars

My kids loved these when they were growing up. They used to like me to add chocolate chips, of course

Ingredients

• ½ cup peanut butter
• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup honey
• 3 cups Cheerios cereal
• 1 cup salted peanuts

Procedures

1. Bring sugar and honey to a boil in large saucepan.
2. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter until blended.
3. Pour in cheerios and peanuts and mix until well coated.
4. Press mixture into buttered 13x9x2-in. baking dish.
5. Let cool and cut into squares.
