Brussels Sprouts with Sour Cream
Description
In Romanian: Varza de Bruxelles cu smantana.
Ingredients
- 1¾ lbs / 750 g Brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- salt
Procedures
- Remove the outer yellow leaves from the sprouts.
- Wash them well and boil at high temperature, in salt water, for approximately 20 minutes.
- When done, drain well, then place in a pan with melted butter at slow temperature.
- Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, shaking the pan every now and then.
- Pour the sour cream and simmer a few minutes more.
- Serve hot.
