Ingredients

• ½ bay leaf
• 2 sprigs parsley
• 1 sprig thyme

Procedures

1. Wrap herbs in small square of cheesecloth and tie with string so herbs are easy to remove when dish is cooked.
2. Other herbs, such as marjoram or oregano, can be added to the basic recipe, depending on the dish you're cooking.
