- bag of frozen hash browns (you can also use those frozen potatoes O'Brien that have chunks of peppers in them)32 oz
- shredded cheddar cheese2 cups
- cream of chicken soup1 can
- sour cream1 cup
- melted butter (you can omit this to save calories)1/4 cup
- chopped green onions (some people call these scallions or spring onions) (you can omit the onions if you don't like them)1/2 cup
- salt1/2 teaspoon
- pepper1/2 teaspoon
- corn flakes tossed with 1 tablespoon melted butter for topping1 cup
