Picadillo
The Mexican dish picadillo is a great filling for tacos.

Ingredients
- (450g to 625g) of ground beef1 to 1 1/2 lbs
- yellow onion1 largechopped
- of garlic4 cloveschopped
- 1/2-ounce beef brooth2 14 unit
- green bell pepper1 largestemmed, seeded, and chopped
- russet potato3 largecubed bite size
- 1/2-ounce can diced tomatoes in juice1 14 unit
- of oil2 tbsp
- salt1/8 tsp
- chili powder1 teaspoon
- Black pepper1 unitcumin, oregano and garlic powder to taste (about 2-2 1/2 tablespoons total)
Method

In a large, heavy pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Dump onions, garlic, bell pepper and seasonings into heated oil.

When the bell pepper starts to discolor, add to it ground beef, stirring to break up large pieces and brown evenly, about 7 minutes.

As meat is browning, add potato, beef brooth and diced tomatoes.
