- chopped onions¾ cups
- bacon1 slicediced
- minced garlic1¼ tsp
- (13¾ or 14½ oz) chicken broth (low-sodium)1 can

- potatoes2 mediumpeeled and sliced (I use 1 potato or none and cube real small)
- thinly sliced fresh kale2 cups
- heavy or whipping cream (fat free ½ and ½)⅓ cup
