Whole Wheat Batter Bread

Ingredients

  • whole wheat flour
    5 cups
  • barley flour (white can be substituted)
    ½ cup
  • soy flour
    ½ cup
  • sugar (you may mix ¼ cup of white and ¼ cup of brown)
    ½ cup
  • salt (or just 2 tsps of salt
    which we like, since it yields a slightly sweeter-tasting bread)
    1 tbsp
  • pkgs dry yeast - pour in 3½ cups of warm water and stir 200 strong strokes until blended.
