  1. Put the water, Sugar and tea into a teapot and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Boil for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add the ground ginger (or cardamom) and the canned milk.
  4. Bring again to a boil.
  5. Then immediately remove from the heat (before it rises and comes out of the teapot).
  6. Strain into cups or a thermos and enjoy piping hot.
