Savoy Bread

Description

In Romanian: Paine de Savoia

Ingredients

• 4 oz / 100 g confectioner's sugar
• 4 eggs
• 2 oz / 50 g potato flour
• 2 oz / 50 g wheat flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• shortening for greasing the pan

Directions

1. Beat the sugar with vanilla and yolks, add the two flours, salt and baking powder, mixing well.
2. Then add the whipped egg whites.
3. Bake into a greased bread pan and serve with tea, cut into thin slices.
