Cooking Mullet Roe

Ingredients

  • mullet roe
  • cornmeal
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • peanut oil for frying

Procedures

  1. Salt and pepper the mullet roe lightly, being careful not rupture the casings - roll the mullet roe in corn meal and fry in hot peanut oil until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  2. Serve as a finger food - with hot sauce or catsup.
