Ingredients

  • 1 lb dried assorted fruit
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 lb flour
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups tea
  • 2 tbsp jam
  • 1 tbsp mixed spices

Procedure

  1. Soak the fruit in the tea for 24 hours
  2. Mix flour, sugar, egg, spice, fruit, and marmalade in bowl. Spoon into a loaf tin and cook for 45 minutes at 325F.
  3. Let cool, remove from tin, then glaze with honey.
