Description
Can be used for breakfast or dessert. Works with fat free milk as well as whole milk.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cardamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons rose water
- ½ teaspoon saffron
- 5 cups milk
- ¾ cup farina
Procedures
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to lowest level and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm in individual bowls or small dessert plates. Drizzle with more melted butter if desired.
