Butterscotch pudding

Vanilla pudding

Procedures

Butterscotch pudding

  1. In saucepan, stir together the first 4 ingredients.
  2. Stir in cream until smooth.
  3. Stir in milk.
  4. Cook until mixture begins to bubble and thicken.
  5. Simmer 3 min.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Stir in vanilla and butter.
  8. Cover and set aside.

Vanilla pudding

  1. In 2nd saucepan, stir together first 3 ingredients.
  2. Stir in ½ cup milk until smooth.
  3. Stir in remaining milk.
  4. Cook until mixture begins to bubble and thicken.
  5. Simmer 3 min.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.

Parfaits

  1. In dessert glasses, alternate layers of both puddings.
  2. Cover with plastic, chill until serving.
  3. Garnish with a little sprinkle of cinnamon.
