Description

These cookies look so pretty on a tray either all made with the same flavor of jam or with an assortment of jams.

  • Makes about 3½ dozen cookies

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  2. Beat in extract; gradually add flour until dough forms ball.
  3. Cover and refrigerate 1 hr or until easy to handle.
  4. Roll dough into 1" balls.
  5. Place 1" apart on un-greased baking sheets.
  6. Using end of wooden spoon handle, make indentation in center.
  7. Fill with jam.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 14 – 18 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  9. Remove to wire racks to cool.
  10. Spoon additional jam into cookies if desired.
  11. Combine glaze ingredients; drizzle over cooled cookies.
