Description

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Williams Estate in Tyler, Texas in 1994. From "Catsrecipes Y-Group"[1]

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa together then stir in milk and shortening and spread in square pan.
  2. Sprinkle with brown sugar and ¼ cup cocoa.
  3. Pour hot water over all then bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
