Apple Pie
Description
Apple pie [1][2] a tasty way to eat warm apples.
Ingredients
- 1 9" unbaked pie shell and pastry top
- 5 cups peeled and sliced apples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 one lemon grated rind
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp cubed butter
Directions
Combine; apples, sugar, cardamom, lemon rind and vanilla, then gently stir. Put into unbaked pie crust, top with cubes of butter evenly distributed then cover with the pie top. Place into a 425 degree F oven for ~40 minutes, or until golden brown.
