Description

'Marshmallow' Pudding - named for its spongy texture; a cross-between steamed pudding and cake. It is rich, delicious and indulgent and part of any gourmet tour of Cape Town.

Ingredients

  • 1Eßlöffel Butter
  • 3Eßl. Aprikosenmarmelade
  • 1 Ei
  • 1 Tasse Mehl
  • 1 Teel. Backpulver
  • ½ Tasse Zucker
  • ½Tasse Milch

Directions

  1. Butter und Zucker cremig ruehren
  2. Ei und Marmelade untermischen
  3. Mehl , Backpulver und Milch dazu geben und ein ruehren.
  4. In eine gefettete Backform geben , mit Alufolie abdecken und bei 180 grad 30 Minuten backen.
  5. Mit Amarula creme warm servieren
