Ingredients

Directions

  1. Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl.
  2. Work in butter.
  3. Add all other ingredients and mix well.
  4. Knead on lightly floured surface about 15 times.
  5. Divide dough into two balls.
  6. Put each into a 6 inch circle.
  7. Cut circle into 6 wedges.
  8. Brush surface with milk and sprinkle with sugar.
  9. Place on buttered cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake 10–12 minutes until brown.
  10. Serve with unsweetened whipped cream and fresh strawberry jam.
