Description
In Romanian: Paine de Savoia
Ingredients
- 4 oz / 100 g confectioner's sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 oz / 50 g potato flour
- 2 oz / 50 g wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- shortening for greasing the pan
Directions
- Beat the sugar with vanilla and yolks, add the two flours, salt and baking powder, mixing well.
- Then add the whipped egg whites.
- Bake into a greased bread pan and serve with tea, cut into thin slices.
