Southern Marinated Maple Chicken

Description

This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Manes Estate in Venus, Texas in 1981.

Ingredients

• 6 chicken breasts
• ½ cup maple syrup
• ½ cup corn oil
• 1 tablespoon garlic
• 1 teaspoon ginger
• 1 can tomato soup
• ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients except chicken in large mixing bowl.
2. Put chicken in large plastic bag and pour marinade over top.
3. Refrigerate overnight.
4. Grill and serve.
