Description
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Marlin Estate in Caddo Mills, Texas in 1995.
Ingredients
- 3 cups baking mix
- ½ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup candied cherries
- ¾ cup nuts
Directions
- Flour 2 loaf pans.
- Combine baking mix, sugar, flour, cinnamon, egg and milk together until well blended.
- Stir in cherries then pour into loaf pans and bake 45 minutes at 350°F.
- Cool completely before removing.
