Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix shortening and sugar in large bowl until creamy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.
  4. Mix flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Stir dry ingredients into the liquid mix.
  6. Stir in oatmeal, nuts and raisins.
  7. Spread in 13 x 9 inch pan bake 350°F for 15 – 20 minutes, until crust begins to brown. Do not overbake.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. Invert on board and cut into 10 – 12 squares.
  10. One square makes one breakfast serving.
