Description
The recipe makes about eighteen small cakes.
Ingredients

egg
, beaten light
¼ teaspoonful of
salt
½ cup of
sugar
½ teaspoonful of
vanilla
½ tablespoonful melted
butter
1¼ cups of
rolled oats
Directions
First beat the
sugar
into the
egg
; add the other ingredients and beat all together thoroughly.
Drop from a teaspoon onto a buttered baking sheet and shape in symmetrical rounds.
Bake in a moderate oven.
