Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut in 1 inch cubes
- 1 can fat-free chicken broth
- 1½ cups potatoes; peel, cube
- ½ cup onion; chop
- ½ cup celery; slice
- ½ cup carrots; slice thin
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp rubbed sage
- ¼ tsp dried thyme
- 3 oz no-salt-added tomato paste
- ¼ cup cold water
- 2 to 3 tbsp cornstarch
Procedures
- In a slow cooker, combine the first 11 ingredients; cover and cook on high for 4 hours, or all day on low.
- Mix water and cornstarch until smooth; stir into stew.
- Cook on high until thickened.
