Description
Kyarzan-Chek (Bean vermicelli soup) is a soup with a distinctive taste. This recipe makes 4 servings.
Ingredients
- 3 pieces garlic
- 1 onion, chopped
- 5 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil
- 1 pound chicken
- ¼ pound mushrooms
- ¼ pound fish cake, sliced
- 3 onions, quartered
- 2 quarts water
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- ½ pound bean vermicelli (bean thread)
- green onions
Directions
- Fry the garlic, onion, fish sauce and chili powder in cooking oil for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the chicken, mushrooms, fish cake, onions and 2 quarts of water and boil for 15 minutes.
- Add the bean vermicelli (bean thread) and pepper.
- Boil in low heat for 10 minutes.
- Serve sprinkled with green onion.
