Ingredients

  • 10 medium sized waxy potatoes, peeled or not peeled,
  • 6 Tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 cup flour,
  • 4 cups chicken soup broth,
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 large onions chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika

Procedure

  1. Thinly slice the potatoes
  2. In a saucepan melt 6 Tbsp margarine
  3. add the flour, chicken soup broth, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, and onion. Simmer till thickened.
  4. In a pan, layer potatoes slices and the sauce (like a lasagna) top with paprika.
  5. Bake in an over for 1.5 hour uncovered

Notes, tips, and variations

  • Tammi's Variation: I do less margarine about 3-4 Tbsp b/c it's too oily.
