Description
Nice for a picnic.
- Yield: 16 meat cakes
Ingredients
- 1½ lbs lean ground beef
- ½ lbs bulk Italian sausage
- ½ cup minced onion
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp dried sage
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- ½ cup whole wheat bread crumbs
- ½ cup unprocessed bran
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix all ingredients together well.
- Place ⅓ cup (2 oz) mixture in each of 16 muffin cups.
- Bake at 350°F.
- Until done, about 1 hour.
- Remove from muffin tins.
- Serve hot or cold.
