Procedures

  1. For cooked mangos, combine all ingredients in pot.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Drain and mash.
  5. Cut piecrusts into 8 (4½") circles.
  6. Spoon 1½ tbsp cooked mangos on half of each circle.
  7. Moisten edges with water and fold dough over mixture.
  8. Press edges to seal.
  9. Crimp with a fork.
  10. Place on a lightly greased baking pan.
  11. Bake at 425°F for 13 – 15 minutes.
  12. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over warm turnovers.
