Description

This delicious spicy dish is best served over rice or rice noodles.

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Remove to a plate.
  4. Add onion and garlic and cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until onion is tender.
  5. Add tomatoes, chicken broth, cocoa powder, honey, vinegar and cinnamon.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Reduce heat to a simmer.
  10. Cover and cook about 15 minutes.
  11. Uncover and cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is completely cooked through and sauce is lightly thickened.
