Join me as I make one of my favorite chili recipes. This makes enough for a good fill for 3 people.

Ingredients:

File:Beefgodchili1.jpg

  • 1.5lbs Lean Ground Beef
  • 2 15oz Cans of Dark Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 Chopped Medium/Large Onion (White or Yellow)
  • 1 15oz Can of Diced Tomatoes (Or you can dice one yourself, but I'm too lazy)
  • 2 15oz Cans of Tomatoe Sauce
  • Chili Powder
  • Minced Garlic (Or chopped)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Tabasco Sauce
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Cumin Powder
  • Oyster Crackers (Optional)
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Optional)

Method

Alright to start out you'll need a large skillet and a big pot. In the skillet dab some vegitable oil into it & put in your onion and about 1 Tbsp of minced garlic and put it the temperature around 6.

While thats cooking you'll need to brown your beef in the pot. You'll know when it's done when it looks like this.

Once the beef is browned you'll need to drain it through a strainer as such (Do not run water through it).

By now your onions & garlic should be done. You'll know the onions done when it looks semi-transparent.

Once the onion is done, mix everything beef & onions back into the large pot. Now mix in the diced tomatoes, tomatoe sauce, drained kidney beans, 4 shakes of worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp salt, and 1 Tbsp of chili powder. Bring just to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer, & cover for 15mins.

Now that the 15mins are up, open the pot back up & stir in 1 tsp of pepper, about 5 shakes of tabasco sauce, 1 tsp of cayenne pepper, & 1 tsp of cumin powder. Cover & let simmer for another 15mins. Once the time is up, taste it & then add more spices if you want to. I usually serve the chili with a handful of oyster crackers & shredded cheddar cheese mixed into each bowl, but that isn't necessary.
