Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cup Sugar
  2. 1 tablespoon baking cocoa
  3. 1/8 teaspoon salt
  4. 1/4 cup hot water
  5. 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  6. 4 cups milk
  7. 1 teaspoon maple flavoring
  8. 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  9. 12 large marshmallows

Directions

1. In a large saucepan, combine Sugar, cocoa, and salt.

2. Stir in hot water and butter; bring to a boil.

3. Add the milk, maple flavoring, vanilla and 8 marshmallows.

4. Heat through, stirring occasionally, until marshmallows melt.

5. Pour into mugs and top each with a marshmallow.
