Brown Sugar Brownies

Ingredients

• 1 cup packed light brown sugar
• ½ cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
• 2 eggs
• 2 ounces (2 squares) unsweetened chocolate, melted
• ½ cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Procedure

1. Preheat oven to 325°F, or Dutch oven to a moderately slow heat. about 5 "Mississippi's"
2. Grease an 8x8x2 inch baking pan.
3. Beat sugar and butter until fluffy.
4. Beat in eggs.
5. Beat in chocolate.
6. Beat in flour.
7. Stir in nuts.
8. Pour into pan or Dutch oven.
9. Bake about 25 minutes.
10. Cool in pan.
11. Cut into squares.
