Panucho is one of Yucatán's most popular regional snacks, and here we tell you how to prepare it.

Panucho is a typical Yucatecan food, plus there are no tourists who leave our lands without trying them, whether it be chicken, egg or skirt steak.

Mmm! So, for those who remained craving to eat more, here is a recipe in order to be able to prepare them in the comfort of home.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2 lbs 3⅕ oz) corn dough for tortillas
  • 100 g (3¹³⁄₂₅ oz) flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups (472 mL) refried black beans
  • 3 cups (708 mL) roast chicken, shredded
  • Pork lard or oil for frying
  • Tomato
  • Peppers
  • Lettuce
  • Avocado
